The Breton coastal path
The location of our seaside campsite in Ploemeur offers you a considerable choice of coastal paths to explore during your vacation, whether you’re on your own, as a couple or with the family. Our hiking friends will be particularly pleased, as they can follow the famous GR34, better known as the “sentier des douaniers”.
This mythical path stretches for over 2000 kilometers along the entire Breton coastline, and is without doubt the most seafaring long-distance hiking trail in France. Treading the seashore with passion is a daily activity accessible to all levels. From Ploemeur, you can head off to exceptional sites: from the Quiberon peninsula with its spectacular wild coastline to the peaceful Golfe du Morbihan, via the famous megalithic alignments of Carnac. La Pointe du Talud campsite**** is the perfect back-up base for visiting the most beautiful coastal spots in southern Brittany, between steep cliffs, secret coves and typical fishing harbours that make up the charm and identity of our region.

The proximity of the ocean is a natural invitation to discovery and aquatic adventure. Near the campsite, you’ll be able to choose from a wide range of water sports and recreational activities, depending on your temperament.
For thrill-seekers, the Fun 56 base in Guidel, just outside Lorient, offers jet-ski, flyboard, towed buoy and wakeboard sessions. If you prefer a more gentle or technical approach, Sellor Nautisme at the Centre Nautique de Kerguelen in Larmor-Plage offers a wide range of disciplines: water walking, sea kayaking on the River Blavet, paddle, sailing and even sand yachting. Seabed enthusiasts can also try their hand at scuba diving around the island of Groix to discover its unspoilt flora and fauna. For surfing enthusiasts, theÉcole de Surf de Bretagne at Fort-Bloqué welcomes you to tame the Breton waves. And let’s not forget the pleasures of fishing! La Pointe du Talud**** is a renowned spot for angling, particularly mackerel fishing, which will delight young and old alike.
Enjoy the most beautiful beaches in Morbihan

Just 400 meters away, the Kerroch beach awaits you: a family beach of fine sand, equipped with sanitary facilities and showers, ideal for a quick swim or a moment of relaxation.
Just 800 metres away, the Pérello beach is a real pearl surrounded by rocks, with lifeguard surveillance in July and August, offering a safe setting for tribes. If you’re looking for an accessible beach, theAnse du Stole beach in Lomener has been awarded the Handiplage label, and features a ramp and adapted facilities. For a more urban feel, the Kaolins and Fort-Bloqué beaches offer vast stretches of sand and pebbles with all the necessary amenities. The Morbihan coastline also abounds with many small, wild coves for those seeking more privacy. Please note that to keep these areas clean, pets are not allowed on most beaches during the summer months.
