Lorient is only 10 km from the Camping de la Pointe du Talud, is nicknamed the city of six ports. It is a city oriented towards water sports activities. It is famous for its Interceltic Festival, which takes place every year in August, a great opportunity to discover Brittany's culture.

The City of Carnac is a seaside resort, located only 45 minutes from Ploemeur. Famous for its white sandy beaches, but also for its rows of menhirs.
