Why is that? Because for 50 years, it has brought together Celtic communities around all kinds of events such as concerts, parades, live shows, film screenings... For 10 days, 11 nations celebrate their origins: Scotland, Wales, Cornwall and many others.

This year, from 5 to 14 August 2022, the Lorient Interceltic Festival will honour Asturias, a principality located in the north-west of Spain, known for its coast, its mountains and its medieval architecture. In total, nearly 120 shows will take place in the city of Lorient during 2 weeks.
