Visit the Quiberon peninsula

The Quiberon peninsula is without doubt a destination to visit during your holidays in the Morbihan. Surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, this ancient island abounds in landscapes to discover between its wild coast on one side and its seaside resort with its pretty beaches on the other.

Not far from the Quiberon peninsula, book a mobile home rental in Morbihan at the campsite La Pointe du Talud***.

The advantage: Quiberon can be visited in all weathers. A sunny day is an ideal time to lounge on the warm sand in the sun, or take a walk along the beach or visit the town. On a windy day, head to the wilderness coast to see the spectacle of the bay as the waves crash against the rocks. Bring your windbreaker and admire this incredible nature!

Close to the Gulf of Morbihan, the bay of Quiberon will nicely compose your stay in Brittany with its beaches, its restaurants and shops as well as its multiple possible activities. This place located between land and sea invites you to tourism with its marina. This one, named port Haliguen is the place of departure of the crossings going towards Belle-île-en-mer. With its perfect location to go to the various Breton islands, this pretty port will allow you to discover the region.

A must-see in Quiberon is the Château Turpault, built in 1904 by Georges Turpault. Privately owned, this large building cannot be visited but is very significant of Quiberon Bay.

Situated between Vannes and Lorient to the north and close to Carnac, the Quiberon peninsula is ideally located. Come and spend a day there, you won't regret it! A walk on the GR34 path, a seafood meal in front of the Port Maria beach or a jet ski trip, this Morbihan destination will delight everyone.

Indeed, there is a wide choice of things to do, such as water sports activities: jet skiing, towed buoys, paddle, canoeing, kite surfing, surfing or sand yachting... A rich programme to discover according to your mood of the day.

As far as visits in the area are concerned, take a trip to Saint-Pierre-Quiberon or to the Pointe de Conguel, a beautiful natural and wild place to discover. Also, try the thalasso experience by relaxing in the whirlpools and other treatments.

This splendid peninsula is therefore a must-see and visit during your stay in Brittany. Between tourism and nature, Quiberon is without doubt a town worth visiting.
