Glénan Archipelago: discover the most beautiful Breton islands

Are you looking for an unusual and timeless place to spend the day? You want to discover the Breton fauna and flora in the heart of a natural and protected area? The Glénan archipelago is the most appropriate place to disconnect and fill up with good energy. A wild sanctuary converted into a laboratory for sustainable tourism, these islands are the delight of all nature lovers every summer. Between large stretches of white sand and turquoise water, it is sometimes difficult to believe you are still in Brittany: a change of scenery guaranteed!

A little advice: beware of the tides which can trap the most adventurous on one of the islands for a few hours!

Camping in Morbihan: a setting that promises extraordinary activities

From April to September, these islands are served by shuttles from the ports of Bénodet, Beg-Meil, Port La Forêt and Concarneau. Once there, you can walk along the various paths and observe the many species of birds that find refuge on these calm lands.

Are you a fan of water sports? On the island of Bananec, in the centre of the archipelago, you will find the largest sailing school in Europe, the Glénans. The tide, the currents, and the numerous rocks are a perfect playground to learn and practice sailing.

Do you like swimming and the depths of the sea? The clear water and heavenly scenery provide an exceptional setting for diving enthusiasts. Among the kelp forests, you can look for anemones, conger eels, stars, sea urchins, lobsters and other creatures!
